Prof. Dr. Miguel Gonçalves Ferreira
Professor Dr. Miguel Gonçalves Ferreira is a Specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and Cervico-Facial Surgery, with a primary focus on Rhinoplasty, Revision Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty, Otoplasty, and Sinusitis.
He completed training in the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department and the ENT Department at IPO Porto. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Otorhinolaryngology at the ICBAS School of Medicine, University of Porto.
He earned his PhD in Medicine in 2020 and is also Head of the Rhinoplasty and Facial Surgery Unit at HSA/CHUP. Over the past 15 years, he has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences and courses across Europe, the United States, Brazil and Latin America, Asia, and South Africa.
He is a regular invited speaker at major conferences such as EAFPS, AAFPRS, GLOBAL AESTHETICS, VEGAS COSMETIC SURGERY, FPSINT, and SPORL. He was the Director of the first Facial Plastic Surgery course held in Porto: PORTO2017 RHINOPLASTY & FACIAL PLASTIC SURGERY (October 2017).
He also served as the Northern Regional Representative on the SPORL Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery Committee (2013–2016).
